柔らかな光沢感があるしっとりとした磁器土の質感と、触覚で感じられる凹凸ある釉薬銅版絵付のコンビネーションが美しい美濃焼のカップ。 釉薬をほどこさずに磁器土を焼き上げた生地を「bisque」( ビスク) と言いますが、ガラス成分の多い磁器土を1340度という高温で焼いて生地自体をガラス化させることで、ビスクの風合いを保ちながら、釉薬をかけた場合と同様な汚れにくい器となっています。 製作は岐阜県・瑞浪市の深山。 色はブラック、コーラルピンクの２色です。 A Mino-style pottery container which beautifully combines a visible sense of quality from the velvety gloss texture of its porcelain clay, and the tangible unevenness of its enameled copper plate decoration. It is made by baking white porcelain clay, which contains many glass particles, at temperatures as high as 1340 degrees. It becomes dirt-resistant in the same way as if it had been glazed.
